11. Student progress reports

Requirement

CLS must write student progress reports at least twice each year and keep copies of reports on file.

Evidence

A copy of a progress report for one student. This report should use the suggested template or should otherwise demonstrate a similar level of detail to that found in the template.

Reports must be in English and should include:

  • student name
  • teacher name
  • year level
  • date of report
  • achievement against the Victorian Curriculum F-10: Languages achievement standards
  • teacher comments on student achievement and progress
  • areas of strength and areas for improvement
  • ways to help the student continue to learn and develop
  • ways for parents/guardians to assist their child’s learning
